WALK-A-THON
Planning for the Family Friendly STARS-Kids walk-a-thons will begin soon. Last year we held three events across the country and we would like to add more. If you are interested in hosting a Walk-a-thon in your area, please send an email to info@STARS-kids.org. We'll get you all the information you need. The 7th annual walk-a-thon in Detroit will be held at Kensington Metro Park and is scenic and fully accessible. There will also be a second annual Grand Haven walk. These events are held on October 25, 2008…Make a Difference Day! Get a team (more fun for you), get a t-shirt, get some exercise, and get some great refreshments all while helping raise funds for shunt research! Start planning and keep a lookout for updates, registration forms and future locations.
